Fashion is a constant change, but some changes are far more drastic when designers decide to take a new turn and surprise their fans. LACE TOPS ARE HAVING YET ANOTHER MOMENT

Lace tops are once again a key trend this season, evolving with different shapes, colours and details; used in full looks or as details for trims and embellishment.
From smart to casual, three-quarters length or short sleeve, the basic t-shirt still dominates the market, with slight updates this spring; the 90’s sports directed cropped style, the white shirt or the sleeveless shell tops, a more formal and elegant direction for the lace top.
White, salmon, beige and nude remain the main colour adding a dressy delicate feel, but colour updates this season include block bright colours, tones of pink red, and yellow bringing a youthful vibrant change, a more modern approach to the classic whites and creams.
Laces tops will be seen in quantity this season but ‘how to’ remain an important matter. Often lace types like crochet or fine lace are immediately noticeable on bare skin, highlighting the lace in contrast with the skin; and if you like this dramatic effect, then pair it with a contrasting colour layer underneath. A two-tone colour ways is a key trend.

Similar to a refreshing breeze in a hot weather, this trend is definitely taking us away from the strong vibrant colours of the previous seasons to a more natural, calming yet exciting set of colours.

Besides denim, hunting-inspired jackets are also a key item for AW 12/13. These gilets are usually worn with a corduroy shirt; one of the most emerging fabric for this season, durable and thick, a perfect combination for a workwear inspired trend.
